Intentions and Gratitude

This week, I have had the past two days off (Wednesday and Thursday), so I am going into the weekend as the start of my work week. I have decided to set some intentions, as well as recognize some things I am thankful for.

I am thankful for my body – it tries and it is able

I am thankful for my sight and for colours

I am thankful for my breath, for it keeping me alive and keeping me focused on the moment, always grounding

I am thankful for my health

I am thankful to be in a loving, supportive relationship

I am thankful for the cool air, autumn weather and colours

I am thankful for a warm beverage and a deep tea cupboard

This weekend, I am going to continue to be physically active to work on my health, I am not going to have any alcohol, and I am going to be diligent in my studying. I am also going to organize myself.

To be physically active I will go for two jogs, aiming for approximately 5 km each time, and I will spend one 1 hour session in the gym on Sunday before I work.

I will be diligent in my studies by finishing at least one chapter worth of notes, and by reading over my past notes through once.

I am going to take an hour to write my work schedule in a calendar, fill out my journal, and organize my finances. I have bills to pay, loans to pay off, and upcoming expenses to save for and it would be best to do so with an organized budget.

By setting clear, concise, and realistic goals for myself for the next three days, I will be able to mindfully act in a way that is productive.
